I Don't Want To Argue

Rocking back and forth,
Like a madman,
I shiver.
I’m cold,
I need you here with me.

But then I don’t.

For some reason I know
Our togetherness
Sparks some sort of combustion,
That our tensions desire.

We end up fighting,
That leads to suicide.
But we won’t get into
That.

I don’t want to bicker with
You,
I don’t want to slaughter myself
Over you.
So I guess I shall inch
Into a ball.
And not make myself valuable.
