The girl sitting there is like no other
She's different in each way from another
She wears black and has a pale face
She sits alone at the lunch table each day
I saw her once with scars on her wrists
I went up to her and asked her how she could do this
She answered to me i never had a friend
That's why I always try to end up dead
I told her i would be her new friend in the world
I was so happy that i could save this girl
See i was popular and she was a freak
She never thought she could befriend someone like me
So the next day at school she was nowhere to be found
I kept looking and looking til i tripped over something on the ground
I looked as I got up and what I found was her
It was my new friend laying there
I found this note laying in her hand
I picked it up reading her demands
All i wanted was a friend but not a fake
So this is the risk i had to take
But what I still can't understand is i wasn't pretending
So why did she have to make her life so ending
So now I know why she always was in black
Cause it's the same for me when your always depressed
