"The World in Plain Sight"

A black and gray quilt,
Lays on this blinded world,
Marked in with lies,
Sewn in with chaos,
Stuffed in with thorns,
That pierce you when you move,
And trap you to be fooled.
Xrays examine this world we have made,
What have we done to the world in which God gave?

Powerless,
we wait,
For the world to say-
What we should do,
What is and is not the truth,
What is the reason,
when we are just like them?
No greater authority,
The same dust,
from this land.

Cowards we stand,
Like mindless foes,
We have our own minds,
Don’t let them control!

Nameless we’ll stand at the eternal end,
What will we do,
When we forget who we had?

All the time,
above us,
we knew,
we could call,
But the thought left before,
We even had our heads bowed.

Our father never left,
Only came closer,
We ran,
Our decieved mnds,
were lead.

Kept in a trance,
we all can leave,
some of us,
too far to see.

When you think you have it all together,
When you feel a distance you can't measure,
when you dig a hole,
you don't know what for,
think what "am I doing?"
And take control.

For,
Hours pass,
And minutes fade,
seconds,
now are gone,
What will you do,
when you wake up one morning,
and find no dawn?
