*Ana is anorexia(I'd like to say thank you to the person who let me
know that, it helped me write this piece!)

Thoughts raced through a young girls mind,
The mind of me,
The mind of I,
Silently decieved,
And poisoned,
By Ana,
Inside of me.

She gave,
All of which I dreamed,
Promised me,
The person I wished to be.

Graciously,
With her sweet voice,
Told me –
“Child just be Ana and you’ll be me”.

At first she-
Came with precious words,
Innocent,
Devouring me,
Slowly ,
While blindng my eyes..

Powerless,
I was now,
She took me,
And controlled,
Defensless,
She showed me.

Withering to nothingness,
Ana was now I,
Ana was now me,
Ana was the gift she gave to me.

The gift of death,
Of lies,
And hoplessness,
The gift of no control,
The gift of her controlling me.
