In the middle of the road
sitting with nothing put a picture of him.
Drops of tears falling from her face
whipping them away but never can they stop altogether.
Holding on tightly to the frame
she pretends to be hanging onto him.
She remembers the cold winter nights,
when he came over and held her,
while by the fireplace, she weeps.
Times she thought she didn't want him anymore,
had made her think again if she actually did leave him.
She loves him and though they fought,
her heart was still beating for him.

Cars past by her one by one.
She never looked up to see them,
but heard them quit loud enough.
Soon another car came by and there he was....
opened a door and she jumped right in.
Because though they said goodbye to eachother that day,
some time during those hours they thought, i need him or her.
