Anger; Mistrust

Anger, mistrust, emotions of my being.
A friendship crashed, burned, then thrown in the pits of hell.
All from a few unspoken words.
They glared and laughed while you kept whispering.
You thought you were too cool for anyone else,
You denied any of it was true.
I didn’t believe you for a second,
Your deceiving ways did not faze me.
Too popular to be kind,
Too mature to know me,
Too self conscience to be around lesser people.
Your true self came out that night.
You are one of them, just like them.
You know how it feels to be blown off,
To be pushed aside for later.
Maybe you were worried what they would think,
Or worried how they would react.
I can’t and won’t take it anymore.
Leave me alone, and get out of my life!
