The Night does fall against the plains,
Fog moves in upon the town,
Slowly and quietyl it rains,
It's hard and cold as it falls down.
The stars shine upon the sky,
The moon glows, it is bright,
The scene takes away your breath through one long sigh,
It is pitch black, there is no light.
The cool air, the breeze, the rain,
With the scene, it's easy to sleep,
The feeling that could take away all pain,
Tonight the sky is the only one who will weep.
The night is calm and paints a peaceful, beautiful picture,
It is so beautiful, it was something no one will ever know,
And she, the wind, dances with the drops of rain, drops trying to touch
her,
The face of wind, will she ever show?
The rain, the night, and the wind all wild,
Only when dark, will they arise,
They run around, like a small little child,
Then the sun will come up, a horrid surprise.
At night, the ones who are called ugly, will come out,
Where no one can see them in the dark,
They are safe to walk at night, they're happy, they could shout,
No one will hurt them, and over and over more and more a mark.
The pain is eliminated, all hurt has left,
For only this small time, between the lights,
Light gone, dark come, quick, like an unknown theft,
When light comes once more, all will be in frights.
The light, the light, it makes all leave,
Because once again, the world will come,
And hurt and decieve,
But during the day, rain drops will drum.
The night will rest, until the next night,
When all will return and be calm,
All will gather away from light,
And stand in a circle, hand to hand, palm to palm.
