Mothers Day

(dedicated to my mother)

Yesterday was mother’s day
But to me
It was like any other day
The same day with the same life

The same life with no mother
My mother is nothing anymore
My mother is dead from reality
And dead from me

My mother was kind
My mother was gentle
My mother was a mother nobody else had
My mother was never with me

I had a mother that
Gave me hugs when I needed it
Gave me kisses when I wanted love
And gave me a shoulder to cry on
But never again I will have that
But no matter what happens
Nothing will change
The death of my mother
Or the tears I spilled yesterday
