My Paradise

Death is perceived as punishment
But for me it’s an enjoyment
Relief from the torture we are forced to endure
I hate these feelings of blankness
Nothing is really there
It’s all an illusion
I cannot feel anymore
All because of you
Won’t you help me?
I’m left here, stranded, without a hand to hold
Run along now… don’t waste your time on me
Obviously you never were sorry at all
I’m going to my paradise land
And by the time you realize what’s happened
I’ll already be gone
Maybe then I’ll find out who my true friends are
