Hideous Creature

When I look in a mirror, you know what I see?
A hideous creature there ever could be.
It sure didn’t help, that all of your friends,
They turned and cursed me out.
I asked you why;
all you did was sigh.
You spoke so gently,
“You aren’t hott enough… for them.”

So maybe I don’t dress like a slut,
Or wear tight pants that show my butt.
I am who I am; not good enough for them.
But then why are you here, speaking to me;
Speaking to someone as ugly as me?
