The drama kids go through today
They'll always tell you it's OK
Inside a world of drugs and more
Our world is kind of like a war

I have some friends who drink a lot
They think it makes them seem all hot
With every sip I cringe inside
Knowing that our friendship has died

Too many friends who glide a knife across their skin
Releasing the pain they feel within
With every drop of blood they see
Is another tear drop coming from me

Boyfriends and girlfriends come and go
But the decision to do it will make you low
You know you won't be able to hide it forever
