It Is You

I stand under the big oak tree,
And watch the sun set.
And I remember,
This is the first place we ever met.

You stood all alone,
No one around.
As I watched you stand there,
I didn't hear a sound.

I wondered,
What Is he like?
What is the story of his life?

So I ventured over to talk to you,
Not knowing what to say,
Or what to do.

I watched you move,
And was mezmorized,
It seemed your face,
I'd memorized.

Where have I seen your face before?
I stood and wondered,
"What's in store?"

Then you spoke in a beautiful tone,
"Hello", you said,
"Welcome home."

Even your voice sounds familiar,
And I was stunned.
It felt as if my body had numbed.

And then I realized it,
And I knew it was true,
You are the one who saved me,
Jesus, it is You.
