Watching From Afar

You can’t expect me to stand here,
And not notice a little tear.
Watching you with her,
Kissing at the bar,
I watch you both with jealousy from afar.

My eyes are getting watery,
Its running down my cheek,
dripping on the floor.
It’s between me and her,
this friendship ruining war.

I wish I could be that one,
The one your arms are around,
The one where your lips are bound.
The one and only for you,
When will you make my dreams come true?
