One life in a mothers hand,
She had a perfect plan,
But she couldn’t understand
A few cigarettes and a lil’ beer
Could harm someone she held so dear
As the girl would hide in fear
Tears came down so wet and clear,
Her face was scared as her mother beat her
It’s not her fault, how bad her parents would treat her
She fell to her knees,
Begging god please
To show her mom how life isn’t free
So that’s what god did,
Now the girl is dead
Her body’s buried down deep
Where god shall continue to keep her,
She is now in a place where she is loved.
