The stars are crying tonight,
In a deepened sky of purple sorrow,
Sliding across a horizon of dusk-light,
Falling in the ripples of tomorrow,
A thousand dots of fire,
Burning a hole in the waters of time,
Grieving through the haze of a liar,
I stand in the destruction of all that is mine,
Walking within rows of darkness,
Where are you?
Seeking with my heart the heartless,
Where are you?
Somewhere ahead thunder rolls,
Calling out to keep the broken,
Trapped within their pity-holes,
Hearing a cry I have not spoken,
But I continue the journey onward,
I have a destination to seek and find,
And I continue the journey forward,
With eyes of love when love is blind,
Hatred drives me to the end,
The pain in my chest awoken,
This is where my journey begins,
With the will to overcome when my will is broken.
