Finding a way out when there isn't one,
The escape when no other is found.
Like an insomniac whose only sleep
Comes eternally.

An action caused by time, self, others
Is it an escape, a way out?
Or just a harvest for more
Pain

The general feeling of imposing death on self
It comes, first, unwanted
Then shapes into a desire
To forever sleep.

Eternal sleep
Wherefore art thou when I call your name
Do not make me impose this upon my own self
To die, to sleep

As life ends into that last sleep
Travel down to hell's front gate,
There the devil will find you,
And awaken you from the coma.

"What has thou done to be brought to me,
This hellish place that you now see.
An eternity of despair is what you've won,
No escape no way out for anyone.

Trapped inside this place of sorrow
You shall not awake tomorrow.
For dreams of loneliness, pain, and despair,
Will forever plague the mind, unfair."

Now at hell's mercy
The eternal sleep has been won.
Though forever taunted by emptiness
To never
awake
again.
