I lay on my bed
And look outside
The cold rain falls to the ground
I shiver under my blankets of protection
I feel vulnerable with or with out them
I wish to be by your side
I can only sit and cry

I do not wish the thought of you to leave my mind
I sit here and wonder why I stay
It is because I do not want to go away
I want to be with you
I hope you want to be with me
For what reason I do not see
I can only sit and cry

I love the way you make me feel
Sometimes I hate it
I want to keep going
To be yours
I can only sit and cry

I want to reach out and hold you
Hug you tight and kiss your lips
I just hold back
Unknown forces restraining me
I can not explain why
Even though I try so hard I can not
I can only sit and cry

I promise to never forget you
I promise to always be there
If not in body then in mind
I am unable to promise to stay
For we may stray apart
If so, I hope to find out again
I can only sit and cry

Sometimes I hate it
I want to keep going
To be yours

No matter how mad you are
How much you keep from me
Or ignore me at times
I will continue to love you
And when I want to comfort you
I may at times fail
I can only sit and cry

I want to be with you forever
I miss you ever second we are not together
I hate it when we fight
I hate it when you are sad
I hate it when I can not understand you
Or when I am unable to do as you hope
I can only sit and cry

But even though I may cry
I will be with you no matter what
I will Love You
