Once upon an imaginary life,
Lived a girl with a love strife.
She found a boy who was funny as ever,
And thought they would be together forever.

When their lips touched it sparked love,
But were they really the ones they dreamt of?
Some months later had passed by,
And they came to find it was all a lie.

He moved on, she was left with tears.
For she thought it would last for years.
Once upon a new day,
His best friend brightened her gray.

He was always there and made her smile,
She tried to push it all away for awhile.
This girl didn’t want to get hurt again,
Plus he was a junior and she was only a freshman.

During one conversation they came to find,
That their love had become intertwined.
He said she was the cutest thing he’s ever laid eyes on,
It melted her heart with his words like a love song.

With him only having one year left of school,
He said in his sweet words he was a fool.
He still loved her and she loved him too,
But they had to let go and let their love loose.

Once upon a never ending story,
Was a girl and two boys that came to see.
That maybe destiny wasn’t meant for them,
And it would be better if they were just friends.

At the end of this day, life, and story,
Were three best friends that were meant to be.
Each day grew and they became closer,
And in the end they lived happily ever after.
