I Don't Understand

People stare, observe our every move
I don’t understand
Is it wrong to love someone of the same sex?
Should I be humiliated or ashamed?
When I am in your arms and you kiss me softly
I feel like I am on top of the world
No one can relinquish me of my crown
Your eyes like a casement to your soul
So beautiful and breathtaking
Why don’t people understand?
They can’t deny me of who I am
I don’t understand
Why do they stare, observe our every step?
As they days go by
I can care less about what they think
All that matters is that I am with you
Your like a whole other world to me
I want to explore every bit of you
All I know is that
I shouldn’t be humiliated or ashamed
Of my new found love for you
I don’t understand
Why do the enemies
Carry a burden on their shoulders
Because of us?
If anything we beautify this
Evil, corrupt world
Just me and you, babe
