You were so full of life,
With so much to live for,
It all ended that night,
When you walked out that door…

Leaving your loved ones a letter,
Which didn’t state why?
Did you think it would make things better?
It didn’t, that’s why I cry…

The day we first met, I still reminisce,
I had laughed so much…you had me in fits…
I once had happy memories of you captured…
But all you’ve done is left my heart fractured…

Without you I feel grief and sorrow,
It hurts to know you won’t be here tomorrow…
With my head in one hand, I sit there hoping,
If it weren’t for the support, I wouldn’t be coping…

Now you’re up above in heaven,
You mean a lot to us… especially your best mate Bevan…
The sadness in his eyes reveals so much…
How hard it was when he knew it was his final touch…

You escaped your problems and are free from your fears,
I too have issues that lead to tears…
You left and chose the easy way out…
As hard as it may be at times, that’s what life’s about…

Soon it will be my turn to spread my wings like a dove…
I pray that you will wait for me up above…
Life is incredibly short my friend,
It’s only a matter of time before this little girls story ends …
