Tonight I lived through the day
Lived through the day to go to the next
Tonight I will grow stronger
Stronger enough to handle the new
Tonight I feel stronger
Strong enough to say good-bye
Good-bye to the people I knew
So they will not get hurt

Tonight I see the stars in the dark sky
I wish on them to make things right
Tonight I sleep and dream
Dream about life and the things I like
I will never wake until the night fades
Tonight things will be different
I will take a shower like everyday
To cleanse my sin and hateful things away

Tonight making friends into enemies
Turning food to medicine
And water into some liquid I never read
Tonight making my life nothing
The nothing I already thought it was
Seeing and watching stupidity all around
All around the mirror I see
The nothingness inside of me
Alone in the dark
Nothing to do
Watching a wasteful passion emptied out
Making myself useless inside my heart
And all you think about is the shine
The shine of the light of dawn
So tonight I say good-night
