Light In The Window

As i sit,
Upon my bed,
And stare out through my window,
I watch a little light,
Turn on,
Turn off,
In the window before me,
Its dim at first,
But then it grows strong,
Like a monster feeding on fear,
And i wonder,
What ever could it be,
Is it a signal for a girl,
Who has been captured,
Or is it a bulb,
Shattered as shattered glass,
Blinking helplessly,
Screaming,
Please someone fix me.
Or is it a sign,
A sign from god,
Calling out to me.
As i sit and wonder,
It provokes me,
To write a poem,
About a light,
Blinking in the window before me.
