the poetic friendship

I was lost and lonely
I stood alone
I needed someone

She was there
She talked to me
She was the one I needed

Here we are
Talking to each other
About poems
And life itself

I thought I would’ve stopped
But she encouraged me to do
To do a poem for anew
So here I am
Writing a new
For someone I talk to
The minutes alone
That happens to be
Only 2min away from thee
I stop to think
Why am I doing this?
Why am I still writing?
But I’m doing it for her
A friend I knew only for 10min
But it seems like 10years
Writing not sure what to say
Just thinking of her in every way
I’m not sure why
But I’m here
And still alive
Just from a poetic girl
Who talked to me this day
But we have lots in common
As if she understands me
But if she does
She will be the first
I know she’s reading this
And saying “all this from me?”
But yes… the girl who is there
There to say “hello Dennis”
And “have a nice day”
Nobody ever talks to me
She was the first
So sense she is reading this
I thank-you Amanda
Thank-you for helping me
Thank-you for talking to me
I hope this is a start of the friendship
The friendship that I need
But anything is fine
As long somebody talks to me
So farewell till we meet next
