The person I've become
I know this I shouldn't have done
The band-aids on my wrist I see
Hiding what I've come to be.

Listening to a thought that cares
Keeping myself in despair
My Life is turning in the wrong direction
I need help, maybe some protection.

Alone.
Unwanted.
Feeling pain.
Gaining shame.

Falling asleep to tears
Overcoming my own fears
Helpess
with myself not caring,
not sharing.

Not focused.
Troubled.
Depressed.
Gone...
Forever.*
