His shadow covers me
I wonder how this can be
His eyes glow with fire
His mind full of desire

Spitting insults right and left
He doesn't know I’m wise and deft
He’s waiting for my reply
He slaps me as I scream why

The pain starts at my head
Sending a signal that I'm dead
My body remains in hell
My soul departs to quell

He's waking up from this dream
His mouth's moving in a silent scream
His eyes bleeding dread
Questions pounding in his head

He stands in the rain
Trying to wash away the pain
He starts walking fast
Trying to erase the past

He reaches the end of the road
Deciding to toss his load
His life is done
While mine has just begun...
