"The Morning Of A Wake"

Wrapped in a warm blanket,
on my smooth,
Bare skin,
I feel a tenderness inside,
That secures my body,
And holds me as a lover would.

The fragrane of hydrangeas,
And cherry blossoms
Flow through,
Echoing it’s innocence
In my ears.

White translucent drapes,
Glide in the breeze,
The touch of its’ ghostly hand,
Cradles me,
Embracing my dreaming body.

It hugs me,
When I cry,
From the fears in my mind,
And it keeps me safe,
From a self bound place.

I know I must wake,
But the fragrence of peace will still be with me,
The warmth of cotton will hold me,
And the soft flowing winds
Will secure me.
