I’ve closed my eyes so many times before…
And I know why, my heart aches more than before,
I tried to fix a problem, that never can be resolved,
But by one prayer, and one faith,
I can at least hold on.

I look out my window,
And all I see is gray,
In a brightened sky of endless blue,
In my eyes it fades away.

My hands reaching for a cure,
For a will to carry on,
And all I see is a dead end,
Only a little candle shines on.

Forward,
Backward,
And in between,
I’ve crawled…..
Tried to hide from past mistakes,
But find me in my cowardly state,
And I am soo……………..ashamed.

I look out my window,

I’ve tried to keep a smile on,
To show that I’m ok,
But I’ve failed in the chance….
And found that acting is no more a game.
And all I see is gray…..
