WE WERE ONE

it started with a moonlit talk
in the car
plotting out our life in view
of the stars
saying goodbye at the rising
of the sun
a quick kiss on the lips
and this story is done
for the moon can't tell how I
screamed out his name
as we made love in the car
without any shame
how I straddled his body and
felt him inside
car not in motion but we went
for a ride
how our bodies moved in
a slow rhythmic trance
how he hit the right spot and
my whole body danced
the stars couldn't see
thru passioned steamed windows
the intensity of his face
as he held our embrace
as he threw his head back
and we picked up the pace
the sound of increased pleasure were heard in our moans
words of desire we exchanged in
low tones
my hands lifted upward as I braced
the ceiling
both us ready to explode from the
feeling
my body climaxed as I felt his release
the dawn nearing we had to cease
for the truth we couldn't hide from the light of the sun
it knew all about the night
we were one
