ILLITERATE

you couldn't grasp this introduction
the preface an insight into my heart
the contents so full of introspection
yet you're illiterate and still in the dark
it is to far beyond your comprehension
to see my tears are not always wet
some fall dry as words of frustration
a gaze of hurt and great regret
an insincere smile is a manifestation
the quiet sorrow is still hidden yet
for nothing you see unfolds to a thought
expressions of love have no recognition
each emotion felt is one that you block
and in my touch there is no recollection
so the chapters and pages are left unread
my context to deep and sublime
you chose pictures to words instead
for you this is but a complex rhyme
