A Place To Hide

he closed his heart
because he is afraid to feel
walking in darkness
what he wants is so unreal
the hope is broken
mind and soul are empty inside
he tried to fix it
what once was true now was a lie

he wants to make it
the way it was supposed to be
and wants to stay
but now he has to disappear
echoing sadness
all the dreams are long time gone
the purest heart
has been stabbed by poisoned thorns

far in the distance
they were never meant to be
there is no healing
for a broken heart that bleeds
now it is over
all the hope has gone away
now he is leaving
to end a whole life in decay

this is what he feared the most
when did everything get lost
the storm is over
but sometimes drifting is much worse

a place to hide
there is only one thing left
nothing can take that away
a place to hide
dreaming of thick rust
but when did everything get lost
