Is it really all my fault?
Is what you say the truth?
Am I really all that bad
Or is it only you?

I work my hardest every day
Just to disappoint you
All you want is perfection
But that is what I try to do

Why can't you appreciate
The person that I am?
Can't you try for just one day?
I really think you can

If you could only think about
Anyone but you
You might actually realize
What you put me through

But since that seems to hard
I guess you'll have to see
That the person that I should be
Will never really be me
