Sitting in his room
Wishing she was there
Helpless to himself
Hoping she still cared
He called her twice...
No answer to be found
When he needed her most
She wasnt around
Thoughts often flowing
About taking his own life
No one ever knowing
About all his pain and strife.
She didnt do it purposely,
She wanted to be there--
With all the things they've been through,
She really truly cared.
He should've waited and talked to her
The one he could count on most.
But he didnt wait, he took the pills
And soon he over dosed.
She loved him more
Than he ever knew...
Never seeing the signs,
Not knowing what he was going through.
They needed to be together
When their parents pushed them apart.
Never knowing what was right for them
Managed to break both of their hearts.
If only they could be together,
If only everyone would see...
That together they were happy
And forever they planned to be.
She couldnt handle the emptiness
She swore his death was her fault
Alone, she sat and cried all day
Sitting on her bed--
That night she took the gun she had
And put it to her head.
She pulled the trigger fast
Not even thinking twice
It was then their family realized
That love took both their lives.
