As I grow
The more I learn
My paradigms on life
Have stopped and turned
The world through my eyes
Is a big mistery
And as I un solve it
I realized nothing’s as it seems

As the rain falls
As the wind blows
As the sun sets
Things change and grow
As time goes on
Nothing’s how it used to be
Nothing but traces
Of washed up memories

Through my eyes
I read between the lines
Look past the truth
And into the lies
As the world keeps turning
I keep on learning
How to get through life
Without crashing and burning

Through my eyes
I see the pain behind love
Can only rely on myself
There’s no one I can trust
I see the tears
That hide behind the smiles
I know there’s problems and fears
Covered up by denial

Through my eyes
I know that life leads to death
Only you can create you destiny
And what you make of it is what you get
I wouldn’t pray for miracles
Don’t expect more and don’t settle for less
Life lessons may be learned the hardest ways
But those are the one’s you know you’ll never forget
