Anything Near Perfect

I couldn't be anything near perfect.
You expect so much out of me and receive so little.
You act like you came from some glorious home and you want your children to
prove to you your life
wasn't for s***.
I could never be everything you
wanted me to be.
Look at me. I have stretch marks
on my stomach from the baby I conceived at 15.
I have scars on my back from the man I thoughtI loved who turned against me
because I had our son.
And yet you still think I could be so great and I still think the same
thing.
I couldn't be anything near perfect.
