the smell of medicine, of death
the fear of people taking their last breath
the joy of newborns, newlives
the sadness of losing husbands and wives
the pain of a tumor growing in the back of your head
the thought of knowing you soon could be dead
the sights you see being rushed down the hall
stopping, wondering, were they pushed or did they fall
the good thoughts knowin your loved ones are coming home
the depressing thought of beng all alone
the hospital is a mixed emotioned place
in the end hoping everyone has a smile on their face
