My heart's been torn,
Ripped to shreds.

He boggles my mind,
I don't know why.

How can he say he loves me,
It just can't be true.

Why won't he kill me,
And just leave me here to bleed.

How do I know,
If what he says is true.

How do I know that what he truly feels,
Is love for me.

I'm so confused,
I hurt so bad.

All I do is cry,
How I wish I could read minds.

How I wish I were an empath,
So that I could feel what he feels.

I just wish I knew the truth,
So that I could put a smile on my face.
