Here I am, staring out the windowpane
Past the dew on the windows
Beyond the clouds of death
Here I am, standing alone in the rain
With wet cement between my feet
And watching a crow feed off of sorrowful sweets
Here I am, seeing thunder crash on the trees
With people drowning in floods of blood
As I watch mountains die and turn to mud
Here I am, with a black day and a white sun
With shattered mirror blades glancing at me
And time going faster then the lights of heaven
Here I am, before my eyes
Watching a god that’s about to die
And the angels that have fallen that once was able to fly
Here I am, stabbing a pen in my veins
As I see the ink drip away
While I cannot find the words to say
Here I am, all of a sudden
In a place, sort of a cell
With pads everywhere and a little glass window
So here I am, staring out a windowpane
