THE THINGS HE SAID

these are the things he said
that got into my head
these are the things he said
just to get into my bed
he said he loved me
and looked me in eyes
he said he needed me
I knew these were lies
he said "this you can believe"
and hoped I'd be naive
he said he'd never hurt me
a promise he couldn't keep
he turned my life to ruins
now I wonder who he's screwin
he said that he's devoted to me
never mentioned her, them and she
he said with me he wants a life
but forgot to tell me about his wife
I said we need to talk before its to late
he had a headache and asked if this could wait
as I grabbed the pill bottle off the shelf
he said "you know there's no one else"
I handed him a tablet to take away
the hurt
he said "come over here and lift up
your skirt"
he said he didn't deserve me
and on this I disagreed
a sudden look of concern
to late for him to learn
as I replied "that wasn't really sudafed
and in 2 minutes you'll be dead
