is it hard for an angel
to fall through a cardboard roof
wouldnt they be too perfect
to fall for the flower that droops

dont angels know i cant provide
the life they wanted to live
all i can prove is my love to them
hoping that would convince him

would they be safe
to wander through my mind
pulling at all the right nerves
would he want to be by my side

if i was a weight tied to him
and we fell into the sea
would he break away and live
or go down with me
