The sunset is beautiful
But when you see the sunrise
It’s gorgeous and brings a new day
Our friendship reminds me of the sun
Always warm even when we fight
We grow apart, slowly, and gracefully
Like a sunset
But then the sun rises again
And we’re together once more
Stronger than before
Burning brightly
Even during the rainfall of tears
Though the sun sets
It is still there
Our friendship is still here
We always come back to each other
Through tornadoes of boys
We come out stronger than before
Through the storms of the year
We rise and bring warmth like the sun
Our bond is strong
Our bond burns like the sun
Through rainfalls of tears
The sun burns brightly
The sun may set for a while
But it rises again, it always does
We have for nearly ten years now
