They say it gets worse
But in this case
Better came first

I got my hopes up

She lied to me
Once again
It hurts so much
Oh the pain

I should have known
Not to believe it
All She does is lie
Truthfulness wouldn't fit

Lie after lie
Day after day
The end is near
There's no other way

I'm growing weaker
Every day
I can't hold on
Nothing to say

I'm collapsing
Under this pain
Please end soon
I'm going insane

I must leave this place
My heart needs to mend
I'd like to think this will be over
But it will never end
