Last night was the night that I let it all go
Last night was the night I could no longer say no
I had to tell someone, and it had to be soon
So out of all people, I decided to tell you
I don’t know why I did it; I don’t have a clue
I had planned on telling someone, I just did't know who
Now you know so much about me, more than I had planned
But soon enough you will know more, for you haven’t heard the end
There is so much I can tell you, so much I want you to know
I’m so totally happy that I can let my feelings show
Not a single soul before you ever knew what you now know
Promise me you’ll tell no one else, and to you my life I’ll owe
There is so much more to me than what others usually see
They don’t know what I think about, they don’t know my fantasies
I dream of the day I’ll have someone who I can tell everything to
But then again, you never know…that person could be you
