You dwell in the bad
as if there's too much
time taken
to not take in the sad.

You speak of ex girlfriends,
of best lessons, and less
than you've had.

You speak of ex best friends,
of guessed-best words, and
guess you've been had.

You swell on the past
as if there's too much
space wasted
to not waste it fast.

Dwell not in the moments
of past-swollen limbs.
And think not of endings,
but where to begin.
