A Friend Lost

Today I sit here to find out a friend is lost!
This friend will never be found again at any given cost!

Did this friend go because someone got her mad?
Her departure is something that makes everyone sad.
Her leaving was not because anyone got her mad.

This friend was one that was there for me, no matter what way it may be.
She lend me her shoulder to cry on, whenever needed.

Sharon, or as I called her Shari was by far a sweet friend
For Shari always had her hand, soul, and heart to lend.
She would do what she could to help you mend.

As you see here, anyone would agree with me
Shari was a friend you would want to forever keep.
But as of today, the news I got was so very deep!!

As I soon found out by her loving husband, Randy
There was days Shari was as sweet as candy,
Then came the days, when Shari wasn’t so sweet.
The days Shari was sweet came as a sweet treat!

How can this person be there to lend a helping hand to others,
When needing some heart to heart friendly advice.
But this is the same person that just couldn’t find to help herself in
need.

As you see Shari had her own handful of problems,
That she just couldn’t or wouldn’t seek the help she was of need.

Oh Shari, such a wonderful person and friend
One that will never be forgotten

Shari- why but why did you have to be so sad?
Did you think by leaving this world would make all glad?
For that is nowhere near true, for we all now are so sad!

For now with you taking your own precious life,
You were and still are very loved,
For that is why you became Randy’s Wife
A wife that was intended to be for life.

That life was cut short, so now your reunion,
Will have to wait for eternal life.

This eternal life, we all will anticipate your face
For now the life of eternity, you will be filled with grace,
Instead of pain and sorrow.

Shari please let it be known and never forgotten,
You will for sure be missed.

For you not coming to anyone for help or advice,
I am not sure if I should be pissed.

Should Randy be pissed for he was missed,
For getting a good-bye kiss.

Please understand we are not pissed,
We grieve for you will be missed!

Shari- for she suffered with such depression,
That took and showed so much aggression.

Was there a reason sweet Shari refused the help?
Maybe leaving this world was the only thing,
She felt would help.

As of her leaving the way she did,
Everyone knowing her will all sit here
To grieve and cry

For I know Randy did indeed did all he could try!
Now Shari, she is gone and no one will ever get another
Hello or good-bye!
If only Shari got the help she was so desperately indeed of need.
Now until we are reunited by eternal life,
We shall grieve your departure.
Life without you shall remain sad and blue.

For your departure due to sadness and depression,
Shall be such a big clue!

For now with what happened to you,
Makes me so sad and blue!

I now clearly can see why in my house,
You will NEVER find any form of a gun.
Why do you ask?
For this news of Shari committing suicide
Is by far what I call fun!

Randy, I now end this in hopes that you do realize,
That your job as a husband was done
I know that your life with Shari was not always fun.
Your love for Shari shall be carried up above.

Randy, just remember I am as well your friend,
I am here whenever in need.

Keep in mind you will be with Shari once again,
That time is what we all call eternal life!

If you shall get there before I do,
Please tell her I said hi.

Randy, keep that chin up
The days, nights, weeks, months, and years
Shall get better.

For now Shari is at her resting place
