A True Love

There comes a time when you feel so loved it overpowers you,
And hope the other person feels the same way too.

A childhood dream is to find a love that is true,
And that I have found, for that I am grateful.

You don’t and cant control who you love,
But when u find love, keep it safe

Love is such a small word but has such powerful meaning.

Have you ever loved someone , that it made you cry?
Loved them so much you dread ever saying goodbye!

Can a love this deep be true,
Or am I just in a dream?

If this is a dream, I don’t want to wake
For I may never find this love for goodness sakes!

The kisses, touches that make me weak in the knees
I know I wont need many pleas.

The lovemaking that is so pure and sweet,
That feels of a treat.

The gentle touches and caresses,
For this cant be given from just anyone,
That is given only from a True love.

He will know your every thought
And that just cant be bought.

Emotions he will come to learn
And emotions he will also have his turn.

To whom do I thank for a love so deep
A love I intend to keep.

A love you just cant buy
But people may try.

For this love I shed a tear,
For the loss of this love is what I fear.

Is this a love the way it should be,
So careless and free ?

Lifted so high in the sky,
You hope never to part till you die?

Do you wonder why me?
Or is it matter of not wanting to be free?

So you sit at night starring and the moon and stars,
In hopes this love will remove old love scars?

Do you find yourself in a love trance,
That just wants to make you dance.

Do u feel like flying high,
Up to the sky?

This love, does it give you the urge to lay on a bed of roses?

For this love is so pure and true
It cant ever be replaced.


This love could never be compared to,
Not even with a love that is new.


For whom do I thank for giving me this love?
For I am ever so grateful.
