I told you only friends.
You asked me again,
and again I said only friends.
There's no chance of you understanding,
The hurt I went through before.
Searching for the cure to get rid of this pain.
You continue to try and persuade me,
do what you can,
So I will say yes.
But I only want to be friends.
I don't wanna fall so deep,
Where outta nowhere I get hurt so badly.
Especially from a guy that was my best friend.
I don't wanna go down that path again.
You asked me why won't you be mine?
I told you because I'd rather be friends.
You asked me there's something wrong with me isn't there?
I told you that I'm afraid to fall again.
To fall so deep into a hole,
I can't get out.
I don't think I'd survive loosing another best friend.
You told me that you loved me.
I asked you why.
Why do you love me so much to keep asking me to be yours.
Why do you love me so much that your always talking to me.
Why do you love me when I don't love you.
