Walk Me To The Edge Tonight

Walk me to the edge tonight
I wont ask for anything else
Tie these hopes in thick, rough ropes
Just walk me to the edge
Lips parted in newfound ease
Words hindered in long lost bravery
Dont say no
Just walk me to the edge tonight
Make sure that you hold my hand
There's no need for words
There's no place for goodbye
Walk me to the edge
The cliff has been calling for quite some time
Come see me off to something better--
Walk me to the edge for my release
A caged bird set free
I know I can fly
as long as my destination is downwards
Walk me to the edge tonight
and send me on my final flight
Hands pressed firm upon my back
Wind whispering comfort to my ear
Dirt crumbling beneath my feet
Sanity slipping from my mind
Just walk me to the edge
and set me free
Its all I need
Hands grasping eternity
Numbness finally encircling
Its all I need
Just walk me to the edge tonight
and Ill never ask anything of you
ever again
