Distraught Love

How could you be so cruel?
And deceive me like you did?
How could you treat me like this?
Like a dumb, little kid.

Maybe I really am just a dumb little kid,
For thinking I ever had chance with you,
I should've known I'd never be good enough,
But why didn't you at least give me a clue?

Instead you said yes,
But why would you want to make me this sad ?
I never thought you'd do this to me,
I never thought love hurt so bad.

Well I hope you're happy now,
You took my heart and threw it on the ground,
And you didn't even have the decency to help pick up the pieces,
You just left the remains there and turned around.

So I guess this is good-bye,
To all the dreams I had,
You really hurt me alot,
And I hope someday love will catch you too,
And be turned around so you can feel as bad as I now do
