Dark Angel Requiem

I have feared you for so long
Sleeping in my satin sheets
Watching shadows dancing on the walls
The flames in the fireplace creating their fury

You enter my mind in the dark of night
Opening my deepest thoughts and secrets
You motives are unknown
Are good or are you evil?

I can not tell
As you enter my thoughts yet again
What are you doing?
Why are you here?
Do you love or hate me so?

I see you during the day
Staring into the deep sapphire sky
Do you think of me?
Or the life you once had?
Do you fear to be alone?

I want to be close
You are my Angel of Darkness
I want you but if I have you
My life could end as I know it
Our future is unknown

I talk to you
Join you in your meditations
I want your thoughts in mine
I want your presence
Will you be my Dark Angel, Requiem?

I know the forging of light and dark
Is taboo in the world I am from?
I do not care
I want to know you
To be your Angel of Light
