We’re falling, falling
Into an endless sea
Of air that smells the thickness of cream
Into space you see the sparkle of
We’re falling, falling
Swirling red into nothing
Dropping into darkness
An ache behind your eyes
We’re falling, falling
Inhumane cries
Speak through the roaring in our ears
Sounds like the dull throb
of a slit on one’s arm
We’re falling, falling
Feet first
Onto the perceived ground
Yet we tumble hopelessly
In an endless atmosphere
Until we’re head first
Arms flailing into the night that never
Ever seems to unearth day
And we’re falling, falling, now
Through sterile daylights
Filled with air so thin
You could coax a hole through it
With no substance
No swirl
No sugared thickness
To pad your downfall
No darkness to hide the sights
You wouldn’t want to see falling
Falling with you
Around you
As a brother to you
Don’t you wish
That you were falling again
in darkness?
